The Great Asian Secrets Giveaway: P40,000 worth of prizes!

This is my entry for a contest hosted by Liz of Project Vanity and Asian Secrets.

Do scroll down for the mechanics but first I must answer this question:
What are your beauty secrets?

Hmmmm.... My answer to this is actually the name of my blogspot which is "Cleanse, tone, moisturize" (pretty clever, huh?) ... in addition to this is to exfoliate, enough sleep, drink plenty of H20, eat healthy and of course, smile and be happy. Life is too short to focus on negative things. :P

I cleanse my face at least twice a day, morning and night. I use 3 facial wash which includes TBS Tea Tree face wash (for my blemishes),  TBS Vit E face wash (to moisturize), and Pond's activated carbon face wash (to whiten). I never go to bed without taking off my mask (makeup that is) unless I want bacteria to build up on my face (eiw!).

I tone my face twice a day as well. Eventhough I wash my face thoroughly, I know for sure that there's still residue of my foundation and when you apply toner before you put on foundation, the application is smoother. I use 3 toners which includes TBS Tea Tree skinclearing toner (for my blemishes), The Face Shop's pore minimizer toner (for my T-zone), and TBS Vit E toner (to moisturize).

I moisturize my lips, face and body. Dry skin is a no no for me. When your skin is dry and you let it that way, you're most likely to have premature wrinkles. So for my face I use TBS Blemish fade night lotion, TBS Vit E day and night cream, and Clinique's dramatically different moisturizing lotion. I never forget to moisturize my neck too as signs of aging is easily revealed by your neck. For my lips, The Face Shop's lip balm and Burt's bees lipbalm. For my hands, I use TBS kind hearts hand cream and for my body, TBS shea and moringa body butter, and TBS papaya lotion. Oh and don't forget to use an eyecream even if you're in your mid 20's, prevention is better that a pound of cure. ;)

I exfoliate my lips, face, and body too. I'm happy to include this in my regimen because exfoliating your skin is benefecial. It removes dead skin cells and reveals a smoother skin and even's out your skintone. But don't get too excited and exfoliate your skin everyday because it is too harsh, abrasive and drying for your skin if you do it every single day. I exoliate my lips every other day with Lush bubblegum lipscrub (yummy too). I exfoliate my face once a week with TBS Vit C Micro refiner scrub. Finally for my body which I exfoliate twice a week, I use TBS strawberry and papaya body scrub. Never forget to moisturize afterwards.

I eat healthy but I'm not some health buff. It's not wrong to be a junkie once in a while. lol. I never fail to drink water everyday because it's still the best to hydrate your body. Lastly, concentrate on the positive things in your life. No matter how much you spend on beauty products and frequent trips to your derma, your inner beauty will still reveal your true beauty. Spend time with your loved ones, friends and of course, a time of the day to talk to the Lord our God.

What I do to maintain my skin may seems to be lot of work but trust me it's worth it in the long run. I'm not saying I have a flawless skin right now but I love my body and accept that I'm no celebrity. haha. For the final question on how I will incorporate Asian Secret's for my routine? That's easy, I will use it interchangebly with my other body scrubs. I would love to see the result of it on my skin. How it will lighten it. I'm so excited.

Thank you Liz of Project Vanity and Asian Secrets for this wonderful opportunity.
